Staff changes
The following staff-change has occured:

Shaddack has been given a Wizardly character (#555), that he named: Rincewind.

His Knightly character will be de-knighted shortly, as Rincewind can take care of anything that the Shaddack-character would need.

At this point in time Rincewind will mainly act as a Social Wizard, so he is there if you need to discuss anything regarding the social mechanics of PhantasyWorld, or if you just feel like a chat.
In time Rincewind will acquire the skills to program MOO-code and I am confident we'll see great things from him in the future ;)

Another one bites......
At his own request, Wizard #777 (Lupinus) has been removed from duty and his 2nd Character (Veneficus) has been re-@knight'ed.

Because a contest has to be fair and such and because I am aware of a certain individual on PW that will stop at nothing to gain a Wiz-bit and then possible break the world, I have decided to NOT hold the Wizbit contest and make the descisions myself, as I have always done.

Wizard changes
As a result of (apparent) non-interest, Wizard #444 has been revoked for not logging in for over 4 months.
A similar action is expected for Wizard #555.

To ensure that we will have an ACTIVE and interested Wizard-staff, I am considering the following:

A kind of contest among PhantasyWorld's inhabitants.
Create a (impressive) part of the infra-structure, code a really cool game or something similar.
Entries will be judged by the present PW Wizards: Myself (#111), Goblin (#222), Cinnamon (#333), Dixie-Chick (#666), Master Lupinus(#777) and Kid Sunlight(#888).

The winner(s) (maximum 2) will be awarded with a Wizbit.
Hopefully this will ensure an interested and active staff.

Growing
I'm glad to report PhantasyWorld MOO is growing steadily.
We have also added the InterMOO-channel to the MOO, so we are now in contact with at least 9 other MOO's.
The Wizardteam that runs PW, also runs (for the most part) Dare-to-Dream MOO .
I'm trying to get a hold of the Database of MOOtown, to see if we can revive this MOO, that has been dead for more than a year now.
Also check out our website, that is fed from the MOO. Parts of it are still under construction, but we'll get there ;)

Temporary Server-addy for PW
Because of a couple of (minor) problems, we have been forced to change servers.

We can be found at

myself.dyndns.org, port 1111

We hope we will be back on pworld.dyndns.org:1111 very soon.

If the first one fails, try the second one and vice versa, please.
